The Society is for anyone with an interest in natural history and meets on the first Wednesday of the month.
From October to April, indoor talks are held in the Scout Headquarters, Gatting Way Uxbridge.
From May to September, meetings are local outdoor evening walks with the subject varying from bats, through birds and plants to glow worms. Weekend visits to places further afield are held throughout the year.
No specialist knowledge is required to attend any of the meetings, all are welcome.
Our Programme of events is on our website www.hillingdon-naturalhistorysociety.org.uk
We also have a working party "The Graylags" who meet most Thursday mornings to do conservation work at Harefield Place Nature Reserve. Tasks include keeping the paths clear, general tidying and recording what is seen.
Please email Enquiries@Hillingdon-naturalhistorysociety.org.uk a couple of days earlier if you wish to come.
